1854 envelope sent from Reading to Stonehouse franked with an SG17 1d Red Plate 176 (TC) which has an Inverted Watermark Small Crown, tied by the Reading Biscuit Spoon 635 Duplex dated OC 9th 1854 with arrival and transit on reverse dated 10th. Tricky to locate very fine examples on cover.
